Strategies for Enhancing the Impact of Blended Instruction in Chinese Colleges and Universities

Due to the rapid development of information technology, traditional classroom teaching is not able meet needs students. Therefore, colleges and universities are paying more attention cultivating students’ individuality comprehensive quality. The “student-centered, teacher-led” online offline hybrid mode emerged as times require, has become a new method, which gradually focus universities. In practices universities, blended instruction made some progress, but issues with quality also arise. Upon review relevant literature interviews teachers students, this study determined that outmoded practices, lack awareness independent learning, absence external conditions in most influential factors affecting mixed teaching. Based on these, corresponding measures proposed from perspectives teachers, schools aid improve its effects. Teachers should continuously their skills ensure Moreover, students sense participation activities develop consciousness learning. Finally, school support structure implement seamlessly.
